Target NATO defence ministers with a Satan-2 hypersonic missile, Putin’s TV propagandists demand

Russia should target NATO defence ministers with a Satan-2 hypersonic missile, Vladimir Putin ’s TV propagandists have demanded.

They also warned viewers that the Kremlin would need to enforce a new round of mobilisation, because the first tranche of 300,000 was not enough.

Propagandist TV anchor Vladimir Solovyov said that Russia is already "de facto at war" with NATO.

Putin should strike the supply routes for weapons including direct hits on Poland and Romania, both NATO countries, he said.

Kremlin loyal academic Dr Andrei Sidorov, dean of the Faculty of World Politics at Moscow State University, said: “Listen, on 12 October, NATO defence ministers will meet in Brussels.

“Let's hit them all at once. They will make decisions there.”

Solovyov, rumoured to be Putin’s favourite TV propagandist, replied: “Okay, good option….so I repeat, the eternal question, Poseidon or Sarmat [Satan-2]?”

Sidorov said Sarmat “[will only be] on combat duty in December, as I understand it”.

Solovyov said that meant it was ready for use now.

“If they say in December, it means it's already on duty,” he said.

The Sarmat - known in the West as Satan-2 - hypersonic nuclear-capable 208-ton intercontinental ballistic missile has a speed of 15,880mph and is claimed by the Kremlin leader to be “unstoppable”.

Sidorov said that the currently announced mobilisation of 300,000 was “only enough to stabilise the front".

“So our viewers need to be aware, there will probably be more mobilisation, because … we need about 20 more divisions just for the ground forces, so we can start to meet the challenges of liberating Ukraine," he said.

But anti-Putin General SVR Telegram channel claimed he the Kremlin leader has already lost the war.

Putin’s “massive missile strike” on Ukraine this week was “a one-time action that does not have real consequences, and has a short-term effect”.

‘This action can be repeated several times with approximately the same ‘success’, but with a fading effect.

But there was “not a single hit” on pre-arranged targets in Monday’s strikes, claimed the site which claims to have inside Kremlin sources.

“The Russian leadership does not have the opportunity to deliver constant massive missile strikes, due to the insufficient number of ‘high-precision’ missiles, claimed the channel.

“This is known to the military leadership, to which Putin shifted responsibility for yesterday's strike on Ukraine and, of course, all of Putin's entourage.

“Putin has already lost the war, there is practically nothing to fight with.

“The escalation that the Russian leadership is embarking on is senseless and criminal and will lead to more victims [including] in the Russian military.

“The hope that Ukraine or Europe will ‘freeze’ and will beg Putin for peace on any terms is untenable - this is propaganda nonsense for completely outright idiots.”

Neither the “poorly dressed and poorly armed” mobilised troops would not succeed.

“Belarus, if it enters the war on the side of Russia, which is highly doubtful, will exhaust its reserves in less than a month and a half.”

The channel predicted: “The war is lost and Putin knows about it [as does] the General Staff, Ministry of Defense, and leadership of law enforcement agencies.

“Every day the war continues for Putin and the leadership of Russia is worse than a crime - it is a mistake.”
