Taoiseach travels to Washington to meet US President Joe Biden ahead of St Patrick's Day

Taoiseach Micheál Martin is travelling to Washington DC on Monday where he will meet President Joe Biden.

Mr Martin will meet President Biden at the White House for St Patrick's Day for the first time after he could not travel to the US last year due to the pandemic.

The leaders are expected to discuss the economic ties between Ireland and the US, as well as the situation in Ukraine and ongoing support for the Good Friday Agreement.
