Taoiseach to hold virtual St Patrick’s Day meeting with President

A St Patrick’s Day bilateral meeting between US President Joe Biden and Taoiseach Micheal Martin is to go ahead by videoconference.

The traditional visit by the Taoiseach to the White House was cancelled after Mr Martin was informed that he had contracted Covid on Wednesday night.
