The Houston Texans have to have be estatic with the development of their rookie class thus far, espeically their young signal caller in CJ Stroud who has truly looked like the real deal through three games. A large part of Stroud’s rise to stardom has been a slept on wide receiver core that was once thought to be a glaring weakness on the roster. A player who has helped form this receiver core into an impressive group has been the rookie who player his college ball right in Houston, Tank Dell.
The rookie connection between Stroud and Dell has been absolutely real these last two weeks. Dell exploded for 145 yards and a touchdown in week three against the Jaguars, which expands upon his 72 yard, one touchdown performance from the previous week. This Houston offense has been able to keep up with everyone they faced this season, and is a far cry better than what was expected entering the season. The deep ball ability and slick route running skills of Dell have complimented veterans Robert Woods and Nico Collins well enough to turn this receiving group into one of the better ones in the AFC in the early goings of the season.

If Dell can continue his success at receiver and improve his connection with Dell, he stands to become one of the next best deep threats in the league. With 251 yards on the season, he is right at the top of the list of rookie wide receivers and stands to outpace all of them at this rate.
