Tammy Abraham is eyeing a future return to Chelsea after leaving the club last summer to join Italian club Roma.
The 24-year-old made the £34million switch to the Serie A side last year having struggled to break into Thomas Tuchel's plans.
Abraham has been a bright light in a very frustrating season for Roma, with an eye-catching 18 goals in 34 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side.
The England international has quickly adapted to Italian football but the Blues have a £68million clause for the striker to return to Stamford Bridge next summer that may be exercised.
The position of Chelsea's main striker remains uncertain with Romelu Lukaku struggling to justify his £97million price tag with just 10 goals this campaign for Tuchel’s team.

The exit of Abraham was not a universally popular one among the Chelsea faithful as he was a successful graduate of their youth academy and who bagged 18 goals in his debut campaign for the club under Frank Lampard.
But he fell out of favour in West London under Tuchel, who opted not to play a central strike with Abraham playing just a bit-part role under the German.
Yet a report in Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport outlines how the striker is now keen on a return to English football and is particularly open to re-joining Chelsea.
With the Blues having a clause on Abraham that kicks in next summer, such a move is more than feasible, while it is such a timescale that could see a change in management in Stamford Bridge.
Despite Abraham’s impressive goal return in Italian football, Giallorossi boss Mourinho believes there is still more to come from the striker.
Mourinho explained last week: “He is doing well but he can do better. The team needs him to do better. A foreign player who was born raised and done in a different football, in a different society.
“It’s not easy to leave England but he is doing well. I hope in him but he has the potential to do even more.”
Abraham previously explained to Pro Direct Soccer about his early days in Rome: “At first it takes a bit of getting used to.
“But after a while, you settle in, find a house and start to explore a bit and try different restaurants. I’m really enjoying Rome.
“Sometimes I get homesick, which is tough, but I’m here for a reason: to do a job. I knew there’d be a point where I’d have to leave Chelsea and go out and explore.
“Now I’ve come to a different country and learning a different culture and language, I’m really enjoying it.”
Abraham is currently continuing his development in the Italian capital but do not rule out a return to Chelsea in the future.
