Tammy Abraham has admitted he's unsure "what the future will hold" amid rumours of a summer transfer from Jose Mourinho's Roma.
The 25-year-old striker has scored 36 goals for Roma since his £34million switch from Chelsea in August 2021. Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle are all believed to be keeping tabs on Abraham, with a return to Stamford Bridge also being mooted.
Abraham's friend Reece James would love the England international to re-join him at Chelsea, but he may have unfinished business in the Italian capital. Abraham has admitted he would like to win more silverware with Roma before leaving the Stadio Olimpico.
Abraham discussed his future with an interview with TMW. The striker said: "Just before I left Chelsea, [Fikayo] Tomori went to AC Milan and we talked a lot. I remember the phone calls, none of us could believe what was happening.
"We had been at Chelsea our whole lives and in a moment we were walking away. Everything I knew was Chelsea apart from a few loan moves.
"But even now I think it was the right time to leave. I was ready to take a step forward in my career, I didn't want to be considered a youngster or a player who had just come from the academy. It was time for me to spread my wings."

On James' plea for him to re-join Chelsea, Abraham said: "I still talk to so many Chelsea players, James always tells me to come back. We grew up together and have known each other for years - players like [Mason] Mount, [Declan] Rice and [Eddie] Nketiah."
Abraham's future is likely to depend on what happens elsewhere in the transfer market. For example, a place at Tottenham could open up if Harry Kane joins Man Utd. Chelsea have the option to re-sign their former star for €80million (£69.4m).
Abraham joined Chelsea in 2004 and graduated from their academy after winning the European Youth League twice and the FA Youth Cup twice. He then completed loan spells with Bristol City, Swansea and Aston Villa before joining Chelsea's first-team squad.
Abraham scored 15 Premier League goals at Chelsea under Frank Lampard during the 2019-20 campaign but lost his place under Thomas Tuchel the following year. That being said, he still went on to win the Champions League and European Super Cup.
Abraham's first season at Roma was a huge success, as he scored 27 goals and won the inaugural Europa Conference League. Goals have come less freely this term, but he's still got a good chance of winning the Europa League. Roma boast a 1-0 lead heading into the second leg of their semi-final with Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night.
On his future, Abraham added: "This could be the best year of my life so far and I want to make that a reality. It would be great to win something again with Roma and who knows what the future will hold."
