CHENNAI: Following Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and several other Indian states, retail fuel outlets in Tamil Nadu have also started to go dry.
According to petroleum dealers, Oil Manufacturing Companies (OMCs), barring Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), have restricted supplies to avoid losses, and this has triggered the fuel crisis across the state forcing bunks in Chennai, Salem, Krishnagiri and Theni region to stop sales from Tuesday (June 14).
