MADURAI: Finance minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan on Saturday said that Madurai will stand as a role model for smart self help groups (SHGs) so as to create a hub for women entrepreneurs.
He was speaking at the launch of the pilot project ‘Thozhilanangu’ in Madurai Central constituency, an initiative of Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (Tansim) to promote mass entrepreneurship among women from economically weaker sections in non-metros.
