Tam Courts 'tracked' by English Championship clubs as Dundee United boss makes candidate wishlist

Dundee United boss Tam Courts has reportedly attracted admiration from English Championship sides.

The United head coach has led his side to a top six Scottish Premiership finish during his debut campaign as boss.

European football is now in their sights, and Courts has also managed to field 15 academy players so far this season.

His impressive record so far is now reportedly seeing the former Kelty Hearts boss added to shortlists south of the border this season.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has stated that Courts record north of the border is putting him on the radar with unnamed Championship sides.

He claims that "a few English Championship clubs have been tracking Courts as a candidate for next season."

As it stands, no clubs in the English second tier have a vacancy as they approach the end of the campaign.

However, the likes of Mark Warburton at QPR have announced they will be leaving after missing out on the playoff spots.

Tony Mowbray is also expected to leave Blackburn Rovers at the end of the season.
