Gooch's lead cut in half in LIV Golf final round

Chase Koepka has landed an ace at Adelaide's 'watering hole' as fellow American Talor Gooch eyes a LIV Golf victory.

Koepka sparked rowdy scenes at the Grange's par-3 12th with the first hole in one of the tournament.

Gooch started Sunday's final round with a 10-shot cushion and, nearing the halfway turn, that lead had been halved.

The 31-year-old is one over for the day, sitting at 19-under-par, five shots clear of India's Anirban Lahiri and big-hitting American Peter Uihlein.

Lahiri has fired an eagle and three birdies to move to 14 under, with Uihlein also climbing the leaderboard at six under on the day.

Australia's Cameron Smith, playing with Phil Mickelson, is treading water with a bogey and birdie entering the turn.

Smith is nine under, alongside Mickelson and Chase Koepka, younger brother of Brooks, after his landmark hole in one.
