(Picture: PA Wire)The news that Extinction Rebellion is planning to recommence daily protests in the capital is unlikely to be welcome by anyone who has to commute through central London, although it’s unclear as of yet what sort of shape the demonstrations will take. In an online briefing, spokesman Andrew Smith said: “we won’t have pink boats, we won’t have pink tables, we will just have people power.
Mr Smith added: “In the tradition of non-violent civil disobedience, we will disrupt business as usual until the Government and big business make change. We need everyone to join us.”
