Prime Minister Rishi Sunak claimed that ‘huge strides’ have been made since leaving the EU

On the third anniversary of Britain’s divorce from the European Union, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has claimed the separation has enabled “huge strides” in the UK, despite experts cautioning economic damage caused by Brexit.

Mr Sunak described that the UK is confidently forging a new path as an “independent nation”.
