HANGZHOU: At 37, Indian squash legend Saurav Ghosal - veteran of four Asian Games, and a team gold and individual silver medallist at the 2014 edition - doesn't know what the future holds for him. He is noncommittal about his chances to represent the country at the next edition of the Asian Games in Japan's Nagoya in 2026.
Though he stopped short of announcing his retirement on Thursday, after losing his men's individual squash final to Malaysia's Eain Yow NG 1-3, Ghosal reckoned that it was a case of "gold lost and a date with history missed" as he walked off the arena at the Olympic Sports Centre Venue dejected and disappointed.
