Takumi Minamino's respectful response to Sadio Mane's request during Liverpool's Carabao Cup celebrations was caught on camera.
The Reds edged out Chelsea by the barest of margins to win 11-10 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes at Wembley on Sunday.
Liverpool's star-studded squad were understandably delighted as they picked up their first piece of silverware since winning the Premier League in 2020.
After making their way up to the gantry to receive the trophy, Jurgen Klopp's side continued the festivities back on the pitch.
The group huddled together under a winners sign, where there were plenty of bottles of champagne to spray on each other.
However, as Minamino went to grab one, Mane tapped him on the arm, seemingly asking him not to spray it around him.
And the Japan international respectfully put it back out of sight before continuing the celebrations again.
Mane is a devoted Muslim and therefore does not drink alcohol as his beliefs state it is haram, and therefore forbidden.

One player who was certainly enjoying himself was stand-in goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who dropped an F-bomb live on TV.
Having been given the nod ahead of Alisson Becker for the final, Kelleher kept a clean sheet and dispatched his penalty with confidence.
Speaking to LFCTV after the game, Kelleher responded to a tongue in cheek suggestion stating he should perform a song for the rest of the Liverpool players by saying “F****** h***” while laughing to himself.
Kelleher's comment was excused by the presenters who cited the evident joy and emotion of the occasion causing his very brief faux pas.
“I was dreaming good things last night, that we would win, but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d score a penalty at the Liverpool end, the winning penalty. That’s just next level,” Kelleher also said to Liverpool FC TV.
When asked about his successful penalty, Kelleher added “To be honest, I was going to go the other side.
“As I ran up I just saw out of the corner of my eye that he [Kepa] was diving that side, so I just wrapped my foot around it. I didn’t mean it to go that high, to be honest.”
