Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has spoken about what his side must do differently against Everton tonight in order to rectify their 1-0 loss at Goodison Park in the reverse fixture.
The north London outfit struggled in Sean Dyche's first match as Toffees' head coach, with James Tarkowski's second-half finish proving to be the decider in what was the Gunners' second Premier League loss of the season. Mikel Arteta's men then had a mini-blip, drawing 1-1 with Brentford before being defeated 3-1 by Manchester City a few days later.
However, they were able to rally, clinching a dramatic 4-2 win against Aston Villa before Gabriel Martinelli netted the only goal of the game to secure all three points against Leicester City at the weekend. Now, right-back Tomiyasu has spoken about the need to make it three wins on the bounce on Wednesday, admitting that his side learnt a lot from the loss on Merseyside when speaking to the club's official website.

Discussing the frustrating result, the Japanese international said: “We learnt a lot of things, the biggest one was we ran less than them. After the game, Mikel told us we had to run extra hard so first of all, we have to run more than them. Then we have to compete, and we have to focus on the basics.
“That game they changed the manager and it was his first game for them, so now we know what they want to do. They like to fight, they like to run and they want to put the ball in the box a lot, so we have to defend our box.
“We have to prepare right and be ready for the fight, because we have to take three points.”
