Take That have sent fans into a frenzy as they’ve announced a huge 2024 UK tour, with dates spread across the country and an additional sixth date added in London.
This Life On Tour will see Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald make a spectacular return to the road, and much of the tour has already sold out. Never fear, though: the band has also added additional dates in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester as well as the capital to meet demand.
News of the tour was announced as the group beamed their distinctive TT logo on multiple venues across the country, with images shared by Gary Barlow on Instagram.
The band also released a new single: Windows, from their upcoming album This Life, whcih is set to be released November 24.
Speaking of the new album, the group said: “It’s been a wonderful experience being back in the studio together making this record. It has that feeling of spreading your wings, letting out the old and bringing in the new.
“We’re incredibly proud of the new album - there’s a sense of togetherness, whether that’s us coming back together as a band or people wanting connection in their own lives. We’re excited for this new chapter!”
Take That will be joined by Olly Murs as the support act on the tour, which will see the two acts play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland.
Murs tweeted, in reference to Take That song Greatest Day: “Today this could be the greatest day of our lives”, as news of the tour was announced, adding “I’ve had this secret for some time but next year I’m on the road with these legends TAKE THAT! What a tour this is going to be!”
