Experience the enduring magic of summer at Fairmont St Andrews, where adventure and tranquility exist in harmony balance, and where memories are made to last long after the season ends

Summer on Scotland’s east coast has a way of slowing life down. Set across 520 acres of coastal countryside overlooking St Andrews Bay, Fairmont St Andrews offers a blend of relaxation, adventure and memorable experiences.

Home to 213 rooms and suites, two championship golf courses, six restaurants and bars, an award-winning spa and direct access to the Fife Coastal Path, the five-star resort provides the perfect setting for a summer escape.

A taste of summer

Food and drink are at the heart of the experience, with each venue offering its own distinctive atmosphere.

One of the season’s highlights is The Neuk Champagne Terrace, created in partnership with Perrier-Jouët. Overlooking the coastline, guests can enjoy Champagne cocktails and a touch of indulgence with sustainably produced Exmoor Caviar, available as traditional caviar bumps or sharing experiences.

Afternoon tea has been reimagined through a partnership with Scottish luxury brand Strathberry. Served beneath the glass atrium, the experience combines elegant pastries and savouries with the craftsmanship and style shared by both brands.

Perched above the coastline, St Andrews Bay Clubhouse & Grill boasts one of the finest views in Scotland.

Fresh seafood, premium steaks and relaxed weekend barbecue brunches are best enjoyed against a backdrop of rolling fairways and the North Sea.

La Cucina brings Mediterranean warmth to Fife, celebrating seasonal ingredients and produce grown on the resort. Sharing dishes, fresh pasta and wood-fired favourites encourage guests to linger over relaxed dinners.

As evening falls, Kittocks Den offers a more intimate setting.

Inspired by Aesop’s fables, its imaginative cocktail menu puts a Scottish twist on timeless tales, with creations such as The Tortoise and the Torrance Hare and The Wolf in Tweed Clothing bringing storytelling to every sip.

For sports fans, Zephyr Sports Bar provides the perfect atmosphere to catch the summer’s biggest events, including the World Cup, Wimbledon and The Open Championship.

Wellness at Fairmont Spa

THE Fairmont Spa offers a sanctuary designed to restore body and mind. A 16-metre pool and recently refurbished Technogym fitness studio complement a menu of treatments from ESPA, ishga and the newly introduced Skin Rocks by Caroline Hirons.

Golf-focused treatments help players prepare for or recover from time on the course, making wellness an integral part of the Fairmont experience.

A golfer’s paradise

Golfis woven into the fabric of Fairmont St Andrews. Home to the Torrance and Kittocks championship courses, the resort combines spectacular coastal scenery with unforgettable play.

Beyond the resort, guests are just minutes from St Andrews, the Home of Golf, and within easy reach of some of the world’s most iconic courses, making it the ideal base for golfers seeking a bucket-list experience.

For younger players, our Junior Golf Camps offer a fun and engaging way for both hotel guests and local residents to learn, develop skills and enjoy the game under the guidance of a PGA professional.

Discover St Andrews

There is plenty to explore beyond the fairways. The historic town of St Andrews offers cobbled streets, independent shops and attractions including St Andrews Cathedral and the World Golf Museum.

West Sands Beach, immortalised in Chariots of Fire, provides miles of golden shoreline, while adventure seekers can enjoy land yachting with Blown Away or embrace Nordic wellness at Wild Scottish Sauna.

Accessible directly from the resort grounds, the Fife Coastal Path reveals dramatic scenery and hidden coves, while hotel bicycles offer another way to explore the coastline. A visit to Janetta’s Gelateria remains an essential stop after a day by the sea.

Space to reconnect

Perhaps the greatest luxury at Fairmont St Andrews is the sense of space. Space to slow down, reconnect with loved ones and rediscover the joy of simple moments.

Families gather over long lunches, friends share Champagne on the terrace and couples watch the sun dip below the horizon. Surrounded by nature and the rhythm of the sea, guests leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready to return.
