Euronews spoke at Berlin’s ITB to Eric Lin, Director of the International Affairs Division at Taiwan Tourism Bureau about how the island more and more tries to attract European visitors.
“Nowadays, we try to increase our visibility and publicity for the European Union to let them familiarize with Taiwan as one of the destinations in Asia. We now participate in a lot of travel fairs and we also invite a lot of agents and the media to visit Taiwan, and we do a lot to have closer cooperation with airlines. We’d like to do quite some effort to let Europeans know what we have.”
