PS5 DualSense controller getting some neat upgrades
The DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 is getting some nifty upgrades to enhance its reputation as one of the smartest gamepads around.
For starters, the internal speaker will be improved, with higher volume capabilities, and the microphone gets some tweaks too.
Shark's first robot vacuum arrives
The Shark Matrix Robot is the brand's first cordless, smart vacuum cleaner that can even mop your floors for good measure.
It's the first from the brand to come to the UK, although we're not yet sure about price or availability as yet.
Will Apple return to older designs for the iPhone 16 camera?
The Apple iPhone 16 could see the return of an older design feature, as the camera bump on the rear is tipped to change.
Reports claim that the rear lenses could be housed in a smaller pill-shaped unit that harks back to former phones.
Fed up with X? Bluesky now available to all
X alternative Bluesky has been an invite-only service until now, but the social network from one of the former founders of Twitter has opened its doors to one and all.
You can now sign up through the app for iOS and Android, or at bsky.app online.
Apple's first foldable phone might not even be a phone
Apple's first foldable could be between 7 and 8-inches, making it more like an iPad mini alternative than a folding phone.
We might have a while to wait to find out though, as sources suggest it won't be coming until 2026 at the earliest.
The Mighty Boosh meets Horrible Histories: new Apple TV+ show could be biggest surprise hit of 2024
Normally renowned for its drama and sci-fi series, Apple TV+ will soon head in a new direction with The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.
Due to premiere on 1 March 2024, the series stars some of the biggest names in British comedy, including Noel Fielding as the eponymous lead. It is also directed by The Inbetweeners' Ben Palmer and co-written by Richard Naylor of Red Dwarf fame.
As a big Mighty Boosh fan, this is one I'm very much looking forward to personally.

Virgin Media O2 launches 2-gig service in UK
Virgin Media O2 now offers a broadband plan that is capable of up to 2.2 Gbps download speeds. Gig2 is £84 per month and can even be extended to include the same speeds for uploads.
The service is currently restricted to major cities, with London, Belfast, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow among those covered.
Ring's new battery-powered Video Doorbell ups the ante when it comes to features
Ring has launched the Ring Battery Video Doorbell – the brand's most advanced doorbell to date. It comes with improved 3D motion detection and birds-eye views for clearer vision and more precise alerts.
You also get plenty of new and exciting features for better recording and video clarity. It'll be available to buy in March.
Heading to Spain for your hols? You're not the only one
UK mobile network Three has predicted that we'll all be heading to Spain this summer. It has partnered with travel expert Hayley Sparkes to determine the most popular holiday destination for Brits in 2024, using her expertise and our data roaming statistics.
Spain was the most popular destination last year too, with Three's customers using more Go Roam data there than anywhere else. France came second, with Italy and Germany a distance behind.
But where's Canvey Island on the list, eh?
Xbox Game Pass gets ready for the Super Bowl and tackles evil to boot
Microsoft has announced the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the next few weeks, and Ultimate members can get ready for the Super Bowl with Madden NFL 24 joining the service tomorrow.
However, the highlight (for me) is arguably Resident Evil 3, with the remake of the classic Nemesis being made available to download and play on Xbox Cloud Gaming from 13 February.
BMW's i5 Touring EV is an ideal antidote to the global SUV obsession
BMW has unveiled a new Touring version of its i5 electric car and it's a refreshing change to the swathes of SUVs we're seeing on the streets.
What's more, the £69K car has the equivalent of 601 horsepower, so it'll rattle your teeth as you whizz past the school run.
Google Pixel Fold 2 could be significantly more powerful
A report has claimed that Google's second stab at a foldable phone could skip the company's current chipset and head straight to Tensor 4 – making it far more powerful than the existing model.
Android Authority also claims that there could be more RAM on board the Google
Pixel Fold 2, too, with 16GB touted. That would potentially make it Google's fastest smartphone yet.
