Virat Kohli continues to rule the 2022 T20 World Cup with his bat, as the former India skipper went past the milestone of 4000 T20I runs during his knock against England in the second semifinal in Adelaide on Thursday. He is the first batter to do so in the history of game's shortest format.
Kohli reached the 4000-run mark with his 42nd run, after India were sent in to bat by England skipper Jos Buttler. Kohli hit Liam Livingstone through the covers for a four to reach the landmark.
