T-Hub in association with EV Master Class is offering an entrepreneurial programme in electric vehicles aimed at enabling startups enhance products through mentoring and to nurture students and professionals acquire requisite skill sets to build and accelerate their careers in the field of the EVs.
Riding on the success of the pilot cohort, a new cohort of the programme was launched during the Telangana EV Day event on Saturday, in which Industries and IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan participated, T-Hub said in a release. Ecosystem enablers like TSREDCO, FTCCI, RICH, TSIC and TASK were part of the event.
The three-month programme, designed, developed and delivered by EV industry leaders, will start in May. The last date for applying is April 30.
Stating that shortage of relevant talent pool was one of the biggest challenges faced by the EV industry, Mr. Ranjan said the EV ecosystem also needs more entrepreneurs foray to get into this space. “Telangana government has taken a concrete step to help the industry by promoting the first such initiative of building an EV entrepreneurial programme. This initiative aims to nurture and encourage young talent, working professionals and entrepreneurs from across the country to consider EV as a profession to pursue or an enterprise to build,” he said in the release.
T-Hub has onboarded IIT Madras alumnus Rajeev YSR, who has been pushing for EV adoption and founded the EV Masterclass, as chief mentor of the programme.
