During Syracuse’s ACC showdown with Pittsburgh at Yankees Stadium, Orange starting quarterback Garrett Shrader opted to show off his gymnastics skills during a live offensive play.
In the first quarter, Shrader lined up as a wide receiver instead of under center. On the play, Syracuse attempted an unsuccessful double-pass.
However, during the play Shrader attempted to distract the defense on the opposite side of the throw by doing a backflip.

Shrader, who missed last week’s game against Boston College with an undisclosed injury, started for the Orange and has been involved in offensive sets.
On top of converting his backflip, Shrader caught a pass and rushed for 51 yards while throwing a five yard touchdown in the first half. However, there maybe something wrong with his shoulder as the talented signal-caller only attempted two passes before halftime.
While the Panthers owned a 13–7 halftime lead, college football fans were instead focused on the outrageous in-play backflip.

So Garrett Shrader just did a full backflip as Syracuse did a half-back pass on 3rd down. I have no idea what's going on. pic.twitter.com/kWuaHcq1TI
