Sylvester Stallone seen on cosy date night with wife Jennifer after calling off divorce

Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin put on a united display as they stepped out from a date night meal after rekindling their marriage.

The pair reportedly called off their divorce just days after announcing their 25-year marriage was over and the actor covered up his tattoo of Jennifer with a picture of dog Butkus, who appeared in the Rocky movies.

After undergoing a dramatic change of heart, Jennifer , 54, was seen cudding up to her hubby, 76, as they left The Polo Bar Ralph Lauren Restaurant in New York last night.

Pictures show the pair leaving the venue arm in arm following a romantic date night as they kept close while crossing the road to their waiting car.

Stallone cut a classy figure in a smart fitted navy blue suit, complete with a buttoned-down shirt and shiny purple shoes as he stepped out with Jennifer.

Both wearing expensive jewellery and watches, Flavin opted for a classy off the shoulder knitted dress, completing the attire with a clutch bag finished with a shiny gold strap.

She complimented her silhouette with a pair of black high heels as she held onto her husband's arm as they crossed the road with their security.

The outing comes after representatives for Stallone revealed the couple were "able to work out their differences" - calling off their divorce.

Stallone recently shared throwback snaps to his Instagram with Jennifer (Sylvester Stallone/Instagram)

They married in May 1997 and share daughters Scarlet, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 26, and on August 19 last month Flavin had filed a petition "for dissolution of marriage and other relief".

She alleged that Stallone "engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate," which he denied.

But now, a source has told People: "They decided to meet back up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences. They are both extremely happy."

According to a Palm Beach County, Florida, court filing, both Flavin and Stallone agreed "that is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly collectively as a family, to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable and private manner out-of-court".

After her divorce filing, Flavin told People: "I'm sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone.

"While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.

"I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward."
