Gary Neville has suggested Ange Postecoglou could be the next Manchester City manager as he hailed Spurs' "brilliant" style of play.
The Sky Sports pundit heaped praise on the former Celtic manager for his rapid implementation of a new style at Tottenham which has led the club to a fifth place spot after 17 matches this season.
Speaking after Spurs beat Nottingham Forest 2-0, Neville saluted an "unbelievable" start to life in London for Postecoglou.
On Sky Sports, Neville said: "We see sometimes managers say they need time to build a style at a football club, that they need time to get used to the players.
"What he has done in such a short period of time is quite staggering because he has not only implemented what would be an idea of play, he has put something in place that is breathtaking to watch, that actually is quite complex when you watch it from a football point of view.

"You think that players, to get them into positions and be like clockwork can take not just months and 40 to 50 matches, it can take two to three seasons.
"You see Pep Guardiola even at Manchester City in that first season, it was difficult for him to get exactly what he wanted across - and eventually he has and it's unbelievable.
"But for Ange Postecoglou, the way in which they're playing and the football that they're playing- Spurs fans won;t like this - he is amazing. If you are Manchester City losing Pep Guardiola in a year or two you'd be looking at Ange Postecoglou now thinking 'Wow, that's exactly what we want to see'.
"But for the time being Spurs have just got to enjoy this because it is brilliant to watch."
However, despite Neville's praise for Postecoglou and his Spurs side, the pundit admitted they still might not make the top four this season.
Although, Neville did single out Postecoglou's side as playing some of the best football he has seen in the past decade.
"They're not going to potentially even finish in the top four," said Neville. "They might finish in the top four, there is one place up for grabs.
"But what they can do is enjoy one of the best brands of football I've seen in ten years since I finished playing football.
"I love watching Tottenham Hotspur play and that hasn't always been the case in the last few years."
