A major road is currently blocked following a crash near Switch Island.

Pictures show police in attendance and two cars damaged.

Inrix said: "A5036 Dunning's Bridge Road Northbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at A5758 Broom's Cross Road/M57 (Switch Island). Congestion to the Netherton Pub.

Creamfields goer, 33, 'wrote his will' after fake psychic's chilling prediction

A woman revealed she still receives messages from friends she made at a music festival after convincing them she was a 'psychic.'

Sophia Burke said that one man took out a will following the exchange after convincing the Creamfield festival goers that she had psychic abilities.

Sophia, from Dunfermline, Scotland, said: "I was at the bar and a guy approached me and said I was giving off psychic vibes because I had a crystal necklace on.

"He said 'do me, do me' so I asked him if he had a younger brother and he said he had and I asked if he was popular at school and he said yes and he couldn't believe how accurate I was being."

Woman detained after house catches fire and car smashed up

A woman was rushed to hospital after emergency services were called to a house fire on Ingleby Road in Wirral (Google)

A woman was detained under the Mental Health Act after a house caught fire and damage was caused to a car.

Emergency services were called to a property in New Ferry after concerns for the safety of a woman.

Merseyside police told the ECHO: "At around 6.40pm yesterday (Sunday 27 February), we received a report of a concern for safety of a woman at an address on Ingleby Road, New Ferry.

"It was further reported that the property was on fire and a vehicle outside the address had been damaged."
