Former Switzerland midfielder Karim Gazzetta has taken his own life at his home in Bosnia and Herzergovina.
The 27-year-old was found dead in front of his home in the city of Mostar, 45 miles south of Sarajevo, early this morning, local media said. Police were conducting an investigation outside his home earlier today.
He had signed for local team Zrinjski, the reigning Bosnian champions, in the summer but was restricted to two appearances owing to injuries.
