Iga Swiatek has embraced her new love of the grass while Belinda Bencic has been inspired by her baby daughter as they both powered towards a slightly surprising semi-final meeting at Wimbledon.
Five-time grand slam champ Swiatek outplayed Russian Liudmila Samsonova 6-2 7-5 to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals for the first time on Wednesday, looking quite at home on the surface where she's largely performed underwhelmingly.
And in Thursday's semis, the Polish No.8 seed will face Swiss former Olympic champion Bencic, who will also be making her maiden appearance in the last-four after ending the adventures of teenage star Mirra Andreeva 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-2).
