Sweeper arrested for raping 87-year-old woman in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar

NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old sweeper has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of an ailing octogenarian in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Sunday.

Police said the case was difficult to crack in the absence of CCTV footage. However, scanning footage from other sections in the locality helped the cops zero in on a man named Ankit for the crime.
