Cheryl has an unlikely past with one of the frontrunners for this year's Eurovision crown and it's all do do with her famous L'oreal advewrts.
One of the most talked about acts from Eurovision semi final 2 was Sweden's Cornelia Jakobs, who made it through to Saturday's Eurovision final. alongside Serbia's entry Konstrakta who sang about Meghan Markle, along with other qualifiers like Poland, Romania and Australia. Cornelia's track Hold Me Closer has been a fan favourite from the get-go this year, as soon as she performed it in the semi final of Swedish national contest Melodifestivalen and bookies have her in the top 5 of the odds going into the finale.
But, while she's taking to the stage alone for Eurovision 2022, Cornelia hasn't always been a solo act. She actually has a Eurovision past with Love Generation, a girl group she used to be in. The band unsuccessfully tried to represent Sweden at Eurovision in both 2012 and 2013, with tracks Dance Alone and Just A Little Bit respectively.

After Love Generation disbanded, Cornelia wasn't done with pop music and former duo Stockholm Syndrome. And that is where Cheryl comes in, as, although Stockholm Syndrome had a rather short lived career, only releasing a few singles, one of those, Pretty Girl, was the soundtrack to the Girls Aloud star's L'oreal ad campaign in 2014.
Cheryl was full of sass and attitude in the ad for the hair brand's Feria Hair Colour. as the song, featuring lyrics like 'So you think I'm a pretty girl? Pretty girls don't run this world,' blasted in the background.
The Eurovision final running order was revealed in the early hours of Friday GMT and Cornelia was confirmed to be singing 20th out of 25 acts. The UK's Sam Ryder is in 22nd spot, with the job of opening the show falling on the shoulders of Czech Republic's We Are Domi..
Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra are still the favourites to win the 2022 title, with Italy, Spain and Serbia also in the mix, along with Cornelia and SAm.
