Indian shooter Swaroop Unhalkar finished 14th in the men's 10m air rifle standing (SH1) qualification round at the Paralympic Games, failing to make it to the eight-player final on Saturday. Unhalkar, 38, who narrowly missed a bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics, scored an aggregate of 613.4 points in an 18-shooter qualification round.
South Korea's Park Jinho led the qualification with 624.4 points, 10.5 points ahead of Unhalkar. Despite a decent second series of 103.0, Unhalkar’s performance dipped, never rising beyond 13th rank and at one point slipping to 16th.
