KSI's boxing comeback opponent Swarmz has released an explosive diss track on the YouTuber ahead of their boxing match later this month.
The rapper has continued to stress how he must learn to box in three weeks and lose 10kg, or around 22lb, in order to make the fight happen with KSI on August 27. But he has also taken time to promote the bout with a YouTube video on his channel before now releasing a diss track, which harks back to the original days of YouTube boxing.
During the early bouts between YouTube stars such as KSI, Joe Weller and the Paul brothers Jake and Logan, it was standard fare for one fighter to pen a 'diss track' on the other. When the elder Paul fought KSI in 2018, the pair released duelling rap songs, totalling in almost 80million plays between them.
And Swarmz has brought back the trend by penning a song, recording the track and a music video and releasing it within what he claims was five hours. In the song, he details how poor his rival looked in his outings against Paul, and brought up a number of his supposed shortcomings.
One lyric in the song goes: "Mans' been fighting for like four years, and I still ain't seeing improvements. Chillin' on the block like Chunkz and Filly [two famous British YouTube stars]; Jake Paul? Don't be silly." He also intimates that KSI only beat the elder Paul on a technicality after he was docked two points for punching the Brit after landing a knockdown.
And fans, who were initially disappointed with the change when Swarmz was announced as Alex Wassabi's replacement for the August 27 card, have admitted he has helped to build hype for the bout. One comment on the video read: "This guy is not scared of anything. Dropping a fire track like this with only 2 weeks of training is something I can only respect.

Another commenter wrote "fair play to Swarmz, he’s doing a great job of helping the promo, also this actually bangs". There had been complaints that Wassabi was not doing enough to sell the event while he was KSI's opponent, but Swarmz has been keen to push his involvement.
KSI has been teasing another announcement related to the August 27 fight night, although he has yet to confirm what exactly is happening. "I’m about to do something that’s never been done before in YouTube boxing," he wrote, before adding later: "Yeah…If I pull this through…It’s gonna blow the internet."
He is planning to release what his plan is in a new video on his JJ Olatunji channel, and insists that the news will be released today or tomorrow. The KSI vs Swarmz event is DAZN's debut pay-per-view event in the UK & Ireland, costing fans £12 on top of their regular subscription.
