A bridge used by pedestrians and cyclists is to remain closed for up to three months - after suffering storm damage.
The Trafalgar Bridge in Swansea 's marina was seriously damaged by wave action during Storm Eunice, leaving it inoperable.
The bridges spans remain locked in the open position weeks later, and despite considering a variety of repair options, marina managers have had to order specialist parts to carry out the work. And they have warned it could take around 11 weeks from ordering to completing the work.

Marina manager Steve Kern, posting on social media, said: "All viable repair options have been considered and a procurement process to rectify the damage and put in place measures to prevent a future recurrence has begun.
"The work will take around 11 weeks to complete from point of order. This time frame is due to lead times on the specialist components required to complete the work. Swansea Council appreciates that the Trafalgar Bridge is a well-used pedestrian and cycling route and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to users. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to expedite the repairs".
The Trafalgar Bridge crosses the River Tawe between the maritime quarter and SA1 waterfront area, and is 300 foot long. It is used regularly by pedestrians and cyclists travelling between the two areas.
A Swansea Council spokesman added: "During Storm Eunice, exceptionally high waves and severe winds caused significant damage to Trafalgar Bridge. This has led to us needing to close it while we carry out repairs. We anticipate the repairs to take approximately three months to complete".
