Price tag emerges for alleged Swans target
Swansea will have to shell out around €7m if they are to land American right-back Bryan Reynolds.
That's according to SportMediaSet, who claim the Serie A side are close to selling Reynolds amid speculation over his future.
The Swans have been named as one of several sides to have been credited with an interest in the Roma star, who's currently on loan at Belgian side Westerlo.

The same report claims that interest from England could prompt Westerlo to make his stay permanent, with the suggestion being he could then be sold on. The level of interest from Swansea is unclear at this stage, but if the numbers involved are accurate, it would surely pour cold water on any potential chance of a move to south Wales.
The 21-year-old has played 21 games for Westerlo this season, netting one goal and earning three assists.
He currently has two years left on his current deal in the Italian capital.
Grimes: Story of our season
Swansea skipper Matt Grimes said the defeat to Sheffield United was their season in a nutshell.
The visitors started the game on the front foot at Bramall Lane but fell behind before the break, with two of the three goals eventual conceded disappointing to say the least.
Since the transfer window closed, Swansea have lost two matches and seen seven goals against them in. Mick McCarthy's Blackpool are up next on Wednesday night and Grimes insists they must be ready to go again.
“It’s been the story of our season really but we need to regroup because there’s a big game on Wednesday," said the midfielder.
“We had a disappointing week last week. Now we want to play on the front foot and impose ourselves at home. I’m sure we’ll be right at it.
“We wanted to start the game on the front foot and be aggressive and I thought we did that. But then we conceded poor goals, I didn’t think it was a 3-0 game to be honest. I thought in patches we played well, but it was always going to be a tough ask to come here and pick up three points especially with the form they’re in.
"I thought at times we went toe-to-toe with them, but we shot ourselves in the foot in the end. It’s all ifs, buts and maybes but I think the second goal just gave them a cushion just before half-time so it was always going to be an uphill battle in the second half."
McCarthy going through Swans tape
Tangerines boss McCarthy says he'll be going through Swansea's tape before the two sides meet at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The last time McCarthy visited SA1, as Cardiff City boss, he was sent packing 3-0. He says he expected the hosts to hog the ball on Wednesday night.
“They’re a very possession-based team," said McCarthy. "I will worry about that when I’ve had a look at them. We’ll be in (Sunday) morning and have lads recovering. We’ll be going through the game and later on we’ll go through Swansea. But they're a very possession-based team.
“We’ve just drawn at home and I’m not bothered what the dressing room is like after a game there, it’s what it’s like when they come in tomorrow morning and it’ll be just the same. They’ll get treated just the same, we need to have a smile on our faces. The ones who are training, train, the ones who are recovering, recover, and we get ready for Wednesday.”
Mini-South Wales derby tonight
Swansea host their local rivals Cardiff in Landore this evening in a mini-south Wales derby (6pm).
The home side will be looking to avenge the 4-3 defeat suffered in the reverse fixture at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium.
The visitors currently sit one place above the Swans in the southern section table.
Coach Anthony Wright: “We’ve had some time away from league action, but we’ve had some friendlies under our belt to get that important game-time.
“There’s always a buzz in the atmosphere when we approach playing Cardiff, but it’s like any other game, really.
“It was an entertaining one back in Cardiff last year. We’ll just go in with our principles and style of play like we always do and we’re looking forward to it.”
