Forest not in for Piroe
Our colleagues at NottinghamshireLive report that Nottingham Forest currently hold no interest in pursuing a deal for Swansea City striker Joel Piroe.
There is an acceptance at Swansea that Piroe, who smashed in 24 goals for his new club in his debut campaign, will likely move on this summer, with the club needing player sales to balance the books in SA1. Leicester City had been linked with the Dutchman but our colleagues at LeicesterLive poured cold water on the links.

And it appears that newly-promoted Forest are also looking elsewhere, with Keinan Davis - a former Swansea target when Steve Cooper was in charge - remaining their number-one target.
"NottinghamshireLive understands the Reds are not considering Piroe at this stage," wrote our colleagues in the east Midlands.
Piroe is likely to be the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer.
Cooper keen on Rodon
Staying in Nottinghamshire, the same report states the City Ground club are keen on signing Joe Rodon this summer.
The defender has barely had a look-in at Tottenham since Antonio Conte arrived in north London, with reports emerging that he likely leave the Champions League outfit.
"Nottingham Forest are interested in Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon," they wrote.
"Centre-back looks to be one of the priority positions for Forest in the summer market, with Tobias Figueiredo and Loic Mbe Soh the only senior back-up options. Forest have already been linked with a handful of names since earning promotion to the Premier League three days ago, but the last is Tottenham centre-back Rodon.
"According to our colleague Alasdair Gold, Tottenham Hotspur correspondent for Football.London, Forest "certainly" have an interest in Rodon, who played under countryman Steve Cooper at Swansea City.
"The 24-year-old came through the academy ranks at Swansea before joining Tottenham in the summer of 2020. He has only made 24 appearances in all competitions across two seasons with the north London club. He is now keen to move on this summer and a reunion with Forest boss Steve Cooper could be high on his agenda."
Brighton and Graham Potter have been linked with Rodon in the past.
Woodman wanted by Preston
Swansea's Championship rivals Preston North End are tracking former loan man Freddie Woodman.
The Sun report the Lilywhites want to bring the shot-stopper to Deepdale on loan next season, with ex-Swansea coach Mike Marsh cited as a link to grease the wheels of any deal.
Marsh is working alongside boss Ryan Lowe at the club. Woodman was on loan at Bournemouth last season but sat on the bench as the Cherries secured promotion to the Premier League.
The same publication report that parent club Newcastle United would want assurances over game-time in order to green light the move.
