Russell Martin has confirmed transfer talks will be taking place today with the top brass at Swansea City amid interest in two of their strikers.
Morgan Whittaker and Michael Obafemi have been the subject of bids from Rangers and Burnley respectively, with both offers rebuffed so far. Indeed, the Clarets have made more than one offer for the striker, who was wanted by the Turf Moor club back in the summer too.
Both attackers are likely to leave SA1 this month, with 13 days left in the window to get moves done. Whittaker spent a fruitful first half of the season on loan with Plymouth Argyle before being recalled earlier this month. Martin confirmed he was left out of last weekend's trip to Sunderland due to transfer interest in his services.

Head coach Martin updated supporters on the strikers' situations during his post-match press conference on Tuesday night, saying he would be meeting with chief executive Julian Winter and head of football operations Josh Marsh on Wednesday to see what the latest is.
At present, he added, there had been no further developments on outgoings at the Swansea.com Stadium.
"We've rejected bids for Morgan and Michael, as you know," he said following the 2-1 extra-time defeat to Bristol City in the FA Cup.
"I'll meet tomorrow (Wednesday) with Josh and Julian to get an update on everything, but no, as far as I'm aware, that's about where we are at really.
"Hopefully, ideally, a line gets drawn under that at some point very soon. But it's January so I don't expect it to until the 31st of January, which isn't very helpful to the players or to us really. I think the only people it really helps is agents. I think you know my thoughts on the January transfer window and what it entails. But we'll have to wait and see."
Martin's frustration was plain to hear in terms of incomings too, where there has also been a lack of activity.
"Not at the minute," he responded when asked about potential imminent incomings. "Targets come and go, things change a lot very quickly.
"I don't see anything happening or changing imminently. January, sometimes, a lot kicks off very late. I'd have loved a new face in by now, just to help the guys and give everyone a boost, but I think every manager would say the same thing, you'd like to do your business early.
"Since I've been here, we've done a lot of deals late on in transfer windows, but we have to avoid some of the deals we've done previously. We have to be really careful about that.
"We've ended up making signings that bolster the squad but don't impact the starting 11. I don't think it reflects very well on us or the player. I think we've done too many of them.
"If we're going to sign people, they need to really make an impact and really change the dynamic of the squad."
