Bristol City are expected to complete the signing of Swansea City transfer target Harry Cornick from Luton Town.
Russell Martin has been eager to add a forward to his ranks this month, particularly following the departure of Michael Obafemi to Burnley.
They identified Cornick as a potential replacement for the Republic of Ireland international, although, as reported earlier today (12:55pm update), the 27-year-old is now likely to move to Ashton Gate before tonight's 11pm deadline.

It comes after the Robins recruited Anis Mehmeti from Wycombe Wanderers having sold Antoine Semenyo to Bournemouth for £9m.
Cornick will not feature in the Hatters' squad for their Championship clash with Cardiff City at Kenilworth Road tonight.
Swansea remain eager to add to their squad in the final throes of what has been another underwhelming January transfer window.
They are in the market for a striker, and they also want a goalkeeper following the news that Steven Benda will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.
They are poised to add Liam Smith to their academy ranks on a permanent deal from Manchester City.
The 19-year-old has undergone a medical at the club's Fairwood training ground on Tuesday with a view to linking up with the Swans' Under-21s.
It's understood Swansea beat a host of other clubs, including Rangers, to the signature of the versatile attacker.
