Luigi Mangione, the suspected shooter of the UnitedHealthcare CEO, is currently being held in a single cell at the maximum custody level at State Correctional Institution Huntingdon in Pennsylvania. This information was confirmed by Maria Bivens, the press secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

According to Bivens, no incidents were reported regarding Mangione's first night at the correctional facility. This indicates that the situation has been relatively calm since his arrival.
