Suspected drunk driver flips Bentley crashing into traffic lights

A Bentley car has been flipped after a suspected drink driving crash.

Officers attended the scene, on Derby Road, Liverpool, after reports the driver of the Bentley crashed it into a set of traffic lights. The car was found flipped on its side.

Damage to the railings and traffic lights also seems to have been caused by the crash. Police report that the driver of the car blew more than double the drink drive limit when tested.

Posting about the incident to Twitter, a spokesperson for Merseyside police's road unit said: "The driver of this vehicle shows us what the underneath of a Bentley looks after he collided with a set of traffic lights."
