Suspect named in county lines heroin and crack cocaine bust

A man has been charged after a county lines drug bust.

Merseyside Police has confirmed that a man has been charged with the supply of crack cocaine and heroin following the execution of a warrant in Bootle. The Misuse of Drug Act warrant was executed at a property on Linacre Road on June 10 and was carried out as part of an investigation by Merseyside Police's county lines team, Project Medusa.

Officers searched the property and found a quantity of class A controlled drugs. Lee Barnes, 22, of Markfield Road, Bootle was arrested and has now been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and money laundering.
