A man has been accused of multiple offenses including false imprisonment after an attack in Travelodge.
Police were called to reports a woman had been assaulted at around 12.15am, on Sunday, February 19 at the hotel on Pool Lane, Bromborough. At the scene officers found the victim, in her 20s, had head injuries and she was rushed to hospital.
Jack Samuel, of Actons Wood Lane, in Runcorn, was arrested and later charged. The 23-year-old has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, false imprisonment, engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We have charged a man following a report of a serious assault in Bromborough on Sunday 19 February. At around 12.15am we received a report that a woman in her 20s had sustained head injuries at Travelodge, on Pool Lane.
"She received treatment at hospital and has since been discharged. We arrested and charged Jack Samuel, 23, of Actons Wood Lane, in Runcorn, with Section 18 wounding with intent, false imprisonment, engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
"He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today (Monday 20 February)."
