A 62-year-old man is due to appear in court charged over a stash of bullets, a gun, drugs and cash which were recovered by police.
The illicit haul was found at an address in Hawarden Grove, Seaforth, on February 22, 2020. Today Charles Walker, of Bowland Drive, Litherland, is due to make an initial appearance at Sefton Magistrates Court.
According to the charges, on February 22 Walker possessed 17 cartridges of .38 calibre Smith & Wesson rounds and 138 Eley branded .22 calibre short rim fire bullets without a certificate. He was also charged with possession of a firearm, a black BBM Police Call 8mm blank firing pistol.

Alongside the firearms and ammunition charges, Walker is accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing MDMA with intent to supply. He also face an additional charge of possessing criminal property in relation to a quantity of cash.
The case is set to be transferred to Liverpool Crown Court where he will appear at a later date.
