Police have named a suspect in connection to an attack in Concert Square earlier this year.
Officers were made aware that a man had been assaulted, on February 26, in the city centre's popular bar area. They found a victim, in his 20s, had suffered serious face injuries after being attacked.
He was taken to hospital and it was confirmed he had a broken jaw and chin. Police arrested a man at the scene.

Now officers have charged Jamie Davies with assault causing grievous bodily harm. The 38-year-old, of Broxton Road in Wrexham, will appear in Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday, January 13, next year.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "A man has been charged in connection with an assault which took place in Liverpool city centre earlier this year. On 26th February officers patrolling in Concert Square were made aware a man had been assaulted.
"The victim, who is in his 20s, suffered serious facial injuries which included a broken jaw and chin. He was taken to hospital and received treatment. A man was arrested at the scene.
"Jamie Davies, 38 years of Broxton Road in Wrexham has been charged with assault causing Grievous Bodily Harm and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday 13 January 2023."
