The NYPD Chief of Detectives, Joe Kenny, revealed that the individual suspected of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson made his escape on a Citi Bike equipped with a GPS system. This crucial piece of information has provided law enforcement with a valuable lead in their investigation.
Chief Kenny stated, 'We're still tracking video footage of the suspect. The last sighting we have of him is riding the Citi Bike in Central Park. Fortunately, these bikes are equipped with GPS technology, which will greatly assist us in locating the perpetrator.' The NYPD will be collaborating with the bike-sharing company to access the GPS data and further advance their search.
