Susanna Reid found herself briefly halting Good Morning Britain as she looked straight at the camera to deliver a message to viewers.
The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Wednesday (April 19) and was joined by co-host Martin Lewis.
It was another edition of 'Martin's Wallet Wednesday' after the money saving expert was signed up to appear on the show on a regular basis to not only host, but to answer viewers' burning questions when it comes to their finances in the current cost of living crisis.
During the mid-week edition of the news show, the pair were also joined by Lindy Cameron, the CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre, who was on the programme to discuss the efforts being made to crack down on cyber crime, after it was revealed that around £177.6m was lost to impersonation scams in 2022.

With the interview ahead, it led Susanna and Martin to talk about the countless examples they have seen of celebrities' faces being used on scam ads, something they have both been victim of. When they crossed over live to Lorraine Kelly for her daily tease of what was to come on her self-titled show, Susanna asked her ITV co-star if her 'face' had been used in an online scam.
Looking exasperated, the Scottish TV star replied: "Absolutely! Only yesterday, because I'm not on Facebook, somebody said on Facebook that there was some ridiculous losing weight nonsense that they had put my face on. And it's infuriating isn't it? So please, please don't fall for the scammers."
"You do not endorse weight loss products," Susanna clarified as Lorraine added: "No, absolutely not!" Susanna then shared what people contact her about, saying she is the 'face' of keto pills. The 52-year-old said: "I get people who I would have imagined would have been able to see through the scam contacting me saying, 'I'm desperate to lose weight, do your keto pills work?'"
She then turned to look directly down the lens of the camera and held her hands up int he air as she said: "I do not endorse, make, sell manufacture or back any pills for losing weight."
Martin then shared how a security guard of a place he 'visits regularly' once told him that they were putting money into his 'cryptocurrency scheme. "Oh don't," Susanna replied in despair as she placed her hand on her co-star's arm. He shared how he tried to tell the person that it was fake and a scam but they continued to insist it was true and proceeded to show him the advert he had got his information from.
"He had been so brainwashed that even though it was me in the advert and me saying it was a scam, he didn't believe me!" the 50-year-old added.
