Viewers were left stunned when it appeared Susanna Reid swore live on air during coverage of King Charles' Coronation, but Petronella Wyatt later clarified she was responsible.
During Good Morning Britain (GMB) the word "b***c" was hard, after a segment from Susanna, before the cameras cut away from her to Kate Garraway.
Speaking about Queen Camilla, Susanna said: "Now many people would say she is and has been one of most vilified figures in Britain, today she will be crowned Queen.
"The public mood towards Camilla, the Queen Consort, has definitely softened in recent years, she is now considered one of the most senior royals of course.
"Kate is at Buckingham Palace."
When the camera cut away to Kate, who was speaking about the crowds, a voice off-camera could be heard apparently saying: "B***h, it is not good."
Viewers took to Twitter to air their surprise at the moment, with one person saying: "Did Susanna Reid just call Camilla a b***h?"
Another person wrote: "Who did Susanna Reid just call a b***h on accidental open mic??"
However Petronella, a regular guest on Good Morning later clarified it was her voice, and she was talking about perception of a royal.
She wrote on Twitter: "Oops. Was off air this morning @GMB when a mike picked me up having a private chat about how a royal had been unfairly smeared in some quarters as a b….. apologies if anyone thought it referred to them. It didn’t!!"
There have been several other memorable moments from the coverage of King Charles' Coronation, including TV presenters Ant & Dec revealing they initially thought their invite was a wind-up.
They were worried it was them on the receiving end this time when they opened envelope to discover they were heading for Westminster Abbey to witness King Charles III being crowned.
But after the penny dropped, they could finally select their suits and sit among royalty this weekend.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, Ant said: "It is a privilege – an honour and a privilege – to be here today."
Dec said getting an invite was a strange feeling and he added: "It's quite surreal when the invite comes through and it's quite an ornate invite and it comes through the door and you think, 'hang on a minute, is it finally our time to get wound up?'
"Is someone having us on here because this is a really good wind up' and no, apparently it was true and here we are!"
As the TV duo awaited the historic ceremony, they uploaded a suited and booted photo to Instagram and captioned it: "It’s time to BeRegal".
They won't be the only showbiz names in attendance, with Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley and Emma Thompson among the famous faces spotted in Westminster Abbey.
