Fans were shocked because another young player, Yashasvi Jaiswal, had already decided to leave Mumbai and play for Goa next season.
Suryakumar Yadav got angry at this fake news. He posted on social media (X) saying, "Is this a scriptwriter or a journalist? If I want to laugh, I’ll stop watching comedy movies and start reading these articles. Total nonsense!" He made it clear that he is not leaving Mumbai and will continue playing for his home team.
