MUMBAI: In a major boost for the defending champions, India's T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, currently struggling for form though, and allrounder Shivam Dube on Monday included in Mumbai's 18-man squad for the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal against Haryana at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Lahli, which will be played from Feb 8.
However, Mumbai chief selector Sanjay Patil asserted that both SKY and Dube will have to pull in their weight in the match, in the light of Mumbai’s shocking defeat against Jammu & Kashmir in the league phase despite the presence of as many as six India players in the XI, which even put their qualification for the knockouts in risk till they beat Meghalaya in their last league game at the MCA-BKC in Mumbai, and were helped by J&K beating Baroda.
