These are the surprising scenes that took place on the Luas red line on Monday night after a car attempted to drive along the tracks.
The incident happened just after 7pm on Monday night and led to services being disrupted for passengers. The car managed to mount the tracks just past the Blackhorse stop on the bridge heading toward Drimnagh.
Footage has emerged on TikTok showing crowds waiting on the platform with trams stuck at the stop due to the vehicle completely blocking the route. Dublin Fire Brigade had to respond to the incident.

A tow truck as well as two DFB engines attended. Those at the platform said that they checked on the driver who seemed fine following the incident.
In an update to passengers on Monday night Luas operators said: "No service inbound from Blackhorse due to car on tracks. Tickets are valid on Dublin Bus."
