There could be a massive month ahead for Galaxy fans with Samsung looking almost certain to reveal its next batch of phones in the coming weeks.
Rumours have been rife that a big upgrade is coming to the firm’s range of foldable devices and now it seems users may have got their first sneak peek at what’s coming soon.
A massive leak, courtesy of MySmartPrice, has revealed how the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 could look and it seems Samsung is giving the front screen a massive boost.
The current Z Flip 4 features a measly 1.9-inch display on the clamshell case but things seem way bigger on the next release. In fact, the screen is so large the Korean firm appears to have had to cut it out around the dual cameras.
If the images, which look like official Samsung snaps, turn out to be true it will make the cover screen far more user-friendly.
Right now, the panel on the Z Flip 4 is only good enough for reading messages and taking the odd selfie but more space could finally allow users to send texts and emails without ever flipping things open. It might even be possible to watch YouTube videos and control music when things are shut.
Motorola’s new Razr 40 Ultra has already adopted a much bigger 3.6-inch display and, as you read in our initial Razr impressions, it’s way more useful than before. From the Razr's panel, it's possible to take photos, play games and uses apps such as Google Maps.
There’s still no official date for Samsung’s July Unpacked event but a recent post on the firm’s Australian newsroom, which has since been removed, did confirm an unveiling is taking place and will be all about foldable.
Mirror Online will be keeping an eye on all the latest Samsung updates and will bring you full news when we hear more.
