No player from Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham is in the top 10 highest-paid in the world, according to a report from The Mirror.
After the Daily Mail wrote that Erling Haaland was taking home £865,000 with bonuses elevating his deal above those of his fellow teammates, London's elite teams has a long way to go in order to make the list. Despite over £250m worth of new signings, Todd Boehly hasn't got one of his stars on the list and Gabriel Jesus' pay increase wasn't enough for him either.
With five current Premier League players on the list, including Mo Salah and David De Gea, Manchester City's willingness to offer vast amounts of money appears to be paying off, literally. Pep Guardiola's side have Kevin de Bruyne, £400,000 per week, and Haaland inside the top five. Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi unsurprisingly make up the most expensive front three ever assembled.

Arsenal, who currently sit above City in the table, may feel they have a good deal and a newfound structure in place after offering Jesus reportedly triple what he was on at City, his figure of £265,000 per week - taken from Sportrac - would be the fifth most at Chelsea.
After letting go of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner this summer, both previously on more than Jesus but still not enough to get into the top 10 list, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also on more than Arsenal's new No.9, whilst Sterling is the highest earner at Stamford Bridge, on £300,000 per week.
In 10th place on the list is Sadio with £350,000 per week, so Sterling is still £50,000 short. If N'Golo Kante does sign a new deal at Chelsea he may well get closer to the list, his current £290,000 per week would likely be bumped up.
As for Arsenal, their only other player on £200,000 per week is Thomas Partey. As part of a structure to foster incentives for a group of hungry players, Arsenal's model appears to be working. Despite their modest wage bill they are still top of the league and may laugh at Man United paying De Gea a remarkable £375,000 per week whereas Aaron Ramsdale is on £62,000.
Chelsea, who are also attempting to change their own wage structure, have recently given Reece James a new long-term contract too, but even his £250,000 per week isn't close to making the list such is the financial power and willingness to pay of the top clubs.
Whether these sides are justified in the money being spent is a question for another day.
